About Us
Tyro Family Pharmacy was incorporated in December of 2005. With the sudden closure of the local drugstore that had served the Tyro community, a void was left for the residents who needed a local pharmacy and health services and supplies. With the support of the land and building owner, the opportunity arose to re-open a state-of-the-art pharmacy in the same location. Four individuals, local pharmacists and pharmacy owners affiliated with Center Street Pharmacy in Lexington, decided the timing was right and fulfilled the idea of re-opening as Tyro Family Pharmacy. We consider it a pleasure being able to serve our local customers and patients. Tyro Family Pharmacy opened for business in late February 2006, and we appreciate all the great support we have received since we opened our doors. By the way, we are avid supporters of the West Davidson Dragons!
