NEW NORTH CAROLINA LAW REGARDING PHARMACIST BREAKS !!
DUE TO A NEW NORTH CAROLINA STATUTE, TYRO FAMILY PHARMACY WILL BEGIN HONORING THE NEW PHARMACIST LUNCH/BREAK LAW. The pharmacist on duty, effective October 2007, is required to receive a 30 minute lunch break per shift. We at Tyro Pharmacy respect this implementation of this new law, and, though it may cause initial delays in prescription processing, it is in the best interests of safety and security that we provide this service to our pharmacist employees. Technicians will be able to deliver Rxs that are already prepared, and the pharmacist will be able to answer all questions upon return. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
